Back when I was a fashion design student with big dreams but no idea where the future would take me, I remember an outing with friends where we talked about our ambitions. One of them turned to me and said, “When I get married, I want you to design my wedding dress.”
I had no industry experience then—just a sketchbook and a heart full of hope. But those simple words meant the world to me. They made me believe that maybe, just maybe, I could make my dreams come true.
Years later, as I pursue what I once only dreamed of, I still think about that moment. While the friendship may have drifted apart, the warmth of those words remains with me, reminding me of the power of kindness and a loved one’s support.
And as we gear up to launch Vol. 2 of Visaal-e-Yaar, we hope our clothes bring you the same joy and drive that the kind words of a loved one can bring.
